Tracey in the office does an amazing job steering me on the best course of action to take with my plumbing issues, she’s never set me wrong and always provides a friendly and professional service to my owners and tenants.    Kelvin hasn’t hesitated to meet me on site to work through what the cause of the issue might be (which says a lot when the boss is happy to step away from the desk and get his hands dirty) and Adam and his team definitely go the extra mile to ensure the repair is completed fast, and done right the first time.

How quickly Adam manages to get a digger on site (and manoeuvre it through the smallest fence gaps without taking out the side of the house is impressive!).   I highly recommend Galbraith to anyone needing a responsive plumber/drainage team.  Their service is unbeatable, their pricing is competitive and they always answer the phone and solve my plumbing problems as quickly as they can.

I have utilised the services of Galbraith Plumbing & Drainage Limited for 14 years and always found them to be reliable and excellent tradesmen. I first used the Company in my role as Property Manager for Barfoot & Thompson Limited, Glenfield. They quickly became the sole plumbing contractor for the up to 150 houses and flats that I managed because I could rely on them to turn up quickly, to liaise well with tenants and most importantly to get the job done properly the first time. They were also competitively priced.

I really tested this Company because plumbing was the most frequent maintenance required at the properties and they never let me down. That’s why they were still my sole plumbing contractor when I retired after 12 years. Since then I have used Galbraiths personally for properties I have renovated and I have referred many people to them and no one has ever had any reason to regret my advice.

Over the last twelve months I have twice had sewer drainage problems at my property. Whilst another company had cleared the problem, it was never resolved permanently, and I always had trouble engaging this firm to arrange a permanent fix with phone calls not being returned and waiting several weeks for  quotes.

I was then (thankfully) referred to Galbraith plumbing. After talking to Heather at the office, Adam came around that same Friday afternoon to inspect the job (with Heather also ringing me to say Adam had been delayed for a time).  Paul was then at my property the following Tuesday to expose the pipes concerned, and on Wednesday Adam and Paul did the work to rectify.

These guys were very helpful in explaining to me as they progressed what the problems were and their intended solution. Repair work was then carried out, replacing the broken pipes and removing the offending tree root.  And after a messy work area they cleaned up so as to make it look as if workmen had not been on site at all.

We were very happy with the overall approach and work ethic of all concerned from Galbraith plumbing, and have every confidence in recommending them for plumbing and drainage repairs.

“I have been a customer of Galbraith Plumbing for a number of years, and can warmly recommend the company for the skill and professionalism of its staff, and for the way the company is responsive to the needs of its customers. As an example, recently the family experienced a toilet blockage late on a Friday afternoon. As you can imagine, we were concerned that it would not be possible for Galbraiths to get a workman around at such short notice and near the end of the working day (and week!). We need not have worried. Galbraiths does its best to look after its clients and an experienced plumber was around in a short period of time and the problem sorted. The plumber sent was pleasant and understanding about the lack of notice and time of day, and did not leave until he was satisfied the problem was properly sorted.

I have been in my Takapuna flat for 28 years; during that time I have relied on Galbraith Plumbing and Drainage.

My flat was built in 1965 and being unable to replace the infrastructure I have had to rely on Galbraiths to fix the occasional water leak, blocked toilet etc.  Galbraiths were recommended by my Aunt and Uncle who had used them for 50 years.  Galbraiths have always been reliable and fair with pricing.  Galbraiths have tradesmen like Kelvin who started with them as a teenager; Kevin has been with them for over 30 years and Adam the drainage specialist.  The office staff couldn’t be more friendly and supportive.
